FISH WITH GREEN PAPAYA SOUP (2 servings)
What you will need:
  • 7 oz (200 g) of fish of your choice - we use tilapia. Some people will use Kurau Fish/Grouper
  • 4-5 slices of fresh ginger
  • 3 slices Astragalus root/ Radix Astragali/ Huang Qi
  • 3-4 Black Dates
  • ¼ of green papaya (peeled and seeded)
  • 4 Cups of water
Instructions:
  1. Prepare a double boiler. Bring the water to boil. Add in all ingredients into the inset of the double boiler and cook on low heat for 1½ - 2 hours
