QUID WITH PEPPERS AND BLACK BEAN SAUCE

Ingredients

  • 16 oz of Squid cleaned and cut into ring-shaped
  • 2 big Jalapeno peppers seeded and chopped finely
  • 2 cloves of garlic chopped finely
  • 2 Tbsp of all-purpose flour + 1 tsp of salt
  • 1 Tbsp of black-bean sauce
  • 4 Tbsp of canola oil

Instructions

  • Heat wok with some oil. Add in garlic and jalapeno peppers. Saute until fragrant for about 1-2 minutes
  • In a meantime coat each squid by tossing them in the all-purpose flour mixture
  • Add the coated squids into the wok and let it cook for about 5-8 minutes
  • Add in black bean sauce. Saute for a very brief while. Turn off heat and serve
