Small pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper
Pat the chicken wings dry with absorbent paper towel. Discard the wing tips . Separate the chicken wings into drumettes and the flat wings
Pour the honey, soy sauce, salt and pepper in a large sealed bag. Add the chicken wings in, squeeze out most of the air and seal the bag and gently squeeze the bag around to mix the marinating sauce with the chicken wings. Lay it flat on the fridge (so they marinade evenly) and let them marinate for about 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 375 F. Place the wings in a lightly greased baking sheet line with aluminum foil. Bake for 30 minutes or until the wings are cooked through. Brush the marinade juice on the wings and flip them over once during the baking
OPTIONAL: Preheat a small saucepan. Melt the butter and pour the remaining marinade juice into the pan and cook until the sauce is thickened and pour over the wings and ready to serve
