So this Bento lunch making things do get addicting. The best part of this all is that they are all edible. Too cute to be eaten as a matter of fact! So, here’s the pig series. The happy pigs enjoying their day out, enjoying the spring weather, beautiful tulips (my favorite flowers). Notice there are three pigs, mama pig, daddy pig and baby pig 😉 just like our little family!
Vegetables I used: Carrot (steamed or raw – up to you), Green Bell Pepper (raw), Tomato (raw), Broccoli florets (blanched), Egg omelette, Chives, Radish
and Seaweed.
I think using slices of ham for the nose and the ears of the pigs will be even better. I don’t have any ham available, so just have to settle with carrots for now.
Fruit I used: Blueberries. I think strawberries will make a great scenary too.
I don’t think I’m done yet, as I haven’t made sandwiches using the sandwich cutter. I’m exploring the possibilities……
