Ever since we were blessed with two children (or I should say school-age children now), I don’t put my alarm clock within my reach anymore. God knows how many times I would snooze that thing! If I’m late to wake up, you can be assured that the rest of the household is totally behind the schedule. I never knew the importance of me arising on time or early until the kids were late to school and husband was late to work. And the effect just seems to carry on for the rest of the day!! Life sure is hectic the moment we all arise in the morning. I’m trying to make sure everyone has breakfast, packing their lunches and then rushing the two kids out of the house and dropping them off to school on time (hopefully). Then my own routines and running around the town for errands, picking up kids from school, driving them to their activities, piano practice, homework, and trying to whip up dinner! Yes..dinner! It’s one of the most precious time for us now! So, my husband and I are definitely making an effort to make sure we all get to sit down and have a meal as a family during dinner time. Some days I get to have some extra time to start prepping for dinner in the afternoon, but some days are just too crazy to even thinking about cooking ! This is when pizza night comes to the rescue. To be honest, our family’s favorite.
Our family really enjoy Freschetta Naturally Rising Pepperoni Pizza. The pizza crust is made with real yeast and no chemical leaveners and preservative free. I could really tell when I ate them. I think that’s what makes Freschetta pizza different with other frozen pizza.
Before baking
20 minutes later the whole house was filled with a wonderful aroma!
You can taste that freshness of baked bread. It tastes like a pizza that someone freshly made. Just look at that crust! Crusty on the outside but so soft inside! What not to love about that!
I usually will make something quick as a side to accompany the pizza. This arugula with pomegranate and mozarella salad is a great example of a perfect side dish that you can whip up so quickly and love how refreshing and delicious. It pairs so well with Freschetta.
Super easy arugula pomegranate mozzarella salad (4 servings)
Ingredients
- 5 oz of arugula salad
- 4 fresh Mandarin orange or 6 oz of canned Mandarin orange peeled and segmented, drained
- ½ cup of pomegranate seeds
- 8 oz fresh mozarella cheese cut into cubes
- Drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Fresh mint leaves
Instructions
- While the pizza is baking, place the arugula salad in a large salad serving bowl. Add in fresh Mandarin orange segments, pomegranate seeds, mozarella cheese cubes followed by drizzle of olive oil, lemon juice, and fresh mint leaves. Give them a toss. I reserve a bit of the pomegranate seeds and fresh mint leaves for garnishing on top and overall presentation. Ready to serve
Find Freschetta at Walmart down at the Frozen Pizza aisle. I also picked up all the ingredients I needed for the arugula salad. It’s just a perfect one-stop! There is an Ibotta offer you can use to save you some money too.
It’s definitely a perfect way to wind down the evening with a pizza night with Freschetta and a side of arugula pomegranate mozzarella salad. I will definitely try the Supreme and also the Canadian bacon & Pineapple pizza next round! How about you ?

Thank you Lori. We love the salad and the pizza just as much (if not more!)
